Partcipate in a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Project

03/07/2007

The purpose of this study is to determine if a questionnaire is effective in assessing the impact of illness and treatment on quality of life, particularly in the areas of pain, fatigue, physical functioning and emotional distress. Participating in this study will help further research to help future healthcare providers better manage patient symptoms and improve the quality of patient care.

Participants will be asked to answer questions on the internet on one occasion and will be compensated $20 for completing the questionnaire. It is expected to take less than 45 minutes to answer all the questions. Participants will have the option of completing different questionnaires on a second occasion, and will be paid an additional $20 for their time if they chose to do so.  In addition, your organization will receive $40 in support from the NIH for each participant who completes the questionnaire.
