Survivor Steve Yeffa and his wife chose to celebrate their birthdays a little differently this year.  To celebrate them both turning 50 this year and in honor of Steve’s five year’s surviving this disease, they hosted a catered lunch to raise money for the Kidney Cancer Association.  Over 120 friends attended the event, where they were asked to bring a donation to help fight this disease.  The event has raised over $3000 so far, with more coming in from friends who couldn’t make the event (many from as far as England and Australia).  Steve’s inspiring story reached the ears of a local newspaper reporter who will be featuring Steve’s story and the event in the upcoming weekly edition.  (To view this article click here)
