Art Chmura will present some interesting information on, “Kidney Cancer and Your Genes”. He will take excerpts from a new book by Siddhartha Mukherjee, “The GENE, an Intimate History” as well as comments from the presentation on Genetics by Dr. Fuki Marie Hisama that we heard at our July Seminar. Dr. Mukherjee also wrote “The Emperor of all Maladies” about Cancer (which you may have seen filmed on PBS last year) which ties into the genetic story.
