Members of the Kidney Cancer Association, including kidney cancer survivors and their family members, ran in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, October 11, 2009. This was the first time our charity has participated in this event and we are pleased by the hard work and devotion to our cause demonstrated by each runner, some of whom had to overcome personal hardship in order to run. Although the Chicago Marathon has ended, there's still time for you to do your part to help us achieve our team's goal of raising $15,000.00 that will be put toward research, education, and advocacy—and the eradication of kidney cancer in your liftetime.
